Commentaires du Broker
If you're looking for a comfortable, cosy and characterful home on the water, then come and have a look at this well restored and maintained wooden motor vessel.
Built by Brooke Marine of Lowestoft in 1937 as a prototype estuary and river cruiser, this vessel was used as the builders demonstration model until the outbreak of the war when she was at first chartered and then bought by the Royal Navy. Shipped out to Australia, for the duration of the war, she was employed as a support vessel to a flying boat squadron.
Post war, returned to England and purchased back by Brooke Marine where she was kept by the family for some years, this vessel went through an extensive restoration period in the late 1990's and then spent time cruising the South Coast and the Thames.
Purchased by the current owner in 2011, she has been further enhanced with the installation of new fresh water pumps, a Colin Frake Faversham stove and the Eberspacher heater has been removed, rebuilt and reinstalled.
There is a surprising amount of living space for a 32ft vessel, providing a good home for it's previous, present and future owners.
